Led the implementation of a new portfolio office to centrally coordinate board level operational performance analysis and monitor the effectiveness of change (mapping the dependencies, milestones, risks and issues).Accountable to Senior Aviation duty holder for delivering a programme of military helicopter and manned fixed wing surveillance upgrade projects improving safety, regulatory compliance and defence operational capability. Spearheaded innovative (agile) digital transformation project realising £30M+ efficiencies in the generation and operation of defence helicopters in its first year. The software system is a flexible integration platform that mapped disparate data types connecting front end aircraft data sources (availability, logistics, safety, compliance, manpower, resources and training) to deliver budgetary effectiveness analysis and forward cost planning.Contract Managed £0.75M airworthiness risk survey programme for 4 aircraft types on three continents (making £250k efficiency in first year and delivered a fifth programme within same budget).
