I am responsible for item data validation, populating OmniCentre™ database tables, customer liaison, NHS staff training, cabinet layouts, Color Touch™ user interface configuration, software installation and updates, fitting and configuring / calibration of peripheral devices and mapping tables for stock ordering and PAS interfaces. Recently worked as part of a full-site implementation at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust to include 54 Omnicell XT™ systems, with JAC ordering and patient demographic interfaces

Mediwell Systems Ltd is one of the leading independent suppliers of Inventory Management Solutions to the UK Medical Sector. Based in the heart of the UK, we develop and manufacture all of our systems at our factories in Leicestershire. Mediwell Systems Ltd are part of the UK based Supply Point Systems Group, Europe's leading independent distributor. As an experienced Implementation Specialist, my role within the business covers more advanced implementations, for example those on a larger scale and involving a higher degree of understanding, such as interfaces using HL7 interoperability standards. My role within implementation of interfaces is installing the integration engine, building solution files to include HL7 message types, mapping message type segments to database tables and fields, installing solution files, configuration of XML files, testing and ‘go live’. Typical interface types include stock control and ordering, patient demographics also covering patient movements and pharmacy treatment orders.
