Dave Tomlin, ran a successful vehicle repair and maintenance business in London for eight years before moving to Milton Keynes and setting up The Car Workshop. He has recently been contracting for Aston Martin in Gaydon and worked previously with Jaguar, Mercedes Benz and AIGP Racing amongst others.However, despite the call of famous names and the excitement of the race track, Dave’s real love is the satisfaction that comes from delivering a first class and personal service to individual customers. The Car Workshop gives Dave that opportunity. He is a fully-trained Automotive Technician and a member of the IMI (Institute of Motoring Industry). The Car Workshop services vehicles to the manufacturer’s specification, carrying out diagnostic assessments, maintenance and repairs to brakes, exhausts, suspension, timing belts, tyres, wheel alignment and undertakes pre-MOT checks and arranges MOT tests. Dave’s pick-up-and-deliver service offers the ultimate convenience for his customers. Work is carried out at The Car Workshop’s facilities at Furtho Farm, just beyond Old Stratford, where Dave’s workshop contains all the necessary vehicle and technical equipment to deliver the excellence he seeks to achieve. He will either collect your car and deliver it back or, if you would prefer to visit his premises, he is happy to show you round. “I’ve always loved working with cars and I’m incredibly lucky to be doing a job which I enjoy.
