As a flight attendant, this experience has allowed me to literally spread my wings. I’ve had great opportunities in exploring different countries, cultures and cuisines. My love for travel and people are what led me to pursue a career in aviation. Being put in unpredictable situations surrounded by people from all walks of life has taught me diplomacy and tact, attentiveness and delegation in decision-making. Eight years of experience as a server in multiple high volume restaurants in both NYC and California has taught me how to thrive in chaos. Serving multiple guests at one time has taught me how to work quickly and efficiently. As a flight attendant and server, I have learned the importance of teamwork, safety of guests, active listening, patience and resilience. My passion for fashion led me to pursue a bachelors in fashion journalism which I have now switched over to fashion design. I have an eye for detail, understanding of texture, color and quality fabric. I am highly creative and artistic with a competitive spirit. I enjoy the creative process and research that comes along with perfecting my craft. I am co-founder of ProperCool LLC, a small fashion styling brand I started March of 2019. Trends are always evolving and my thirst for knowledge has led me to creative direct my own projects for creative purposes. Everyday I am looking to improve myself as an artist and flight attendant. I am always looking for new inspiration, enhancing my sketching abilities and finding new ways to bring my ideas to life. Currently I am working on combining my love for aviation and travel with my passion for fashion. I am building my brand as a fashion attendant. Designing my own outfits, styling friends and shooting them to produce content. The content I am producing is my resume as a fashion entrepreneur. I’ve been managing the Instagram account for BetterBodyWork, a platform connecting travelers with fitness trainers and massage therapists. Networking with different trainers and massage therapists has taught me a lot about fitness, health and bodywork. This engagement has given me an in-depth learning experience that I couldn't have gained anywhere else.
