David Toolan is an award winning film maker from Athlone Ireland who has ten year’s experience making and producing films. A graduate of the National Film School at IADT, David majored in producing and minored in documentary direction.Elected senior head prefect in the Marist college Athlone and awarded student of the year in 2014. Then again in DEFI in 2015, were he was also elected student president. In IADT David was elected chairperson of the IADT debate society. He has worked in multiple studios including IADT, Eir sports, and Virgin media sports. David also started the Athlone film festival and is still the festival director today. He is currently working as a freelance cinematographer and director and has had various teaching engagements in film making skills with TUS (Technical University Shannon), IADT, Pulse college, and the Marist college.
