I am an educator/engineer at heart with a knack for fabrication, mechanical design, and simulation. A few years into my career after my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering I realized that I enjoy helping others learn. Since then, my interests and employment experiences have always had the underpinnings of education. Today, I am an operations manager at a research center, AHMCT, who primarily focuses on supporting the highway maintenance and construction industry in being safer and more efficient. Our center performs basic research all the way to deployment. There is always something new to learn and help others learn, in or outside of our center.
