2020 Graduate from the College of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Pennsylvania State UniversityPennsylvania native with the skillset to bridge the gap between engineering design and practical application.With nearly 2 years of experience in manufacturing at 3 different locations, I've honed the skills necessary to connect engineering design and data analytics with the reality of shop floor operations. In previous internship experience, I successfully designed and integrated computational software to improve the accuracy of alloy composition calculations and reduce operator stress. In my current position, I worked closely with shift supervisors and utility workers to reduce the overall lead time of a frequently treated customer part by 30%. My past and current roles as an engineer have taught me how to strategically introduce new technology and make process improvements with shop floor employees.In the future, I see myself in a leadership role establishing a better working relationship between the engineering and production environments. It is my belief that engineers and management should have a greater presence on the floor to encourage teamwork between all levels of the organization.My strengths include data analysis, factory physics, technical communication, and relationship building.I enjoy strength training, firearm collecting, and 3D printing in my spare time.
