- Bachelor of Science degree in Geographical Information Systems (GIS). - Over 21 years in the oil and gas industry with over 14 years of experience with ESRI/ArcView 9.x and 10.x mapping and Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS), including online and classroom training from ESRI.- Experienced computer operator including ArcGIS (ArcGIS Online, ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcToolbox, ArcScene/3D Explorer, Publisher, Spatial Analysis), Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access) and Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of SQL, Python and FME/Data Interoperability software.- Ability to coordinate multiple projects, effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize and meet required deadlines.- Identify and compile database information; Perform analyses of spatial and non-spatial data; Generate maps (including data driven pages and map book creation), reports and data, based on results.- Experience capturing, converting, creating, editing, manipulating and maintaining digital information in a GIS environment, including Tobin/P2 Energy and DrillingInfo.- Providing training and technical support to GIS users and assisting in determining operational and project requirements.- Courthouse and tax office title research for land parcel and mineral ownership.- Create presentation quality maps and plotting them using large format plotting equipment.- Monitor mapping work and the updating of maps to ensure accuracy, the inclusion of new or changed information, and compliance with rules and regulations.- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary team environments and independently with strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
