As an intern, I updated the current and prospective members list, helped write the language for stakeholder meeting invites, and contacted local organizations and governments as a follow up to those invites. I also contacted and scheduled meetings with state legislatures.

As an English teacher, I prepared lesson plans for each of my classes and then used them as a guide to teach my classes. I taught a variety of students from prekindergarten to doctors at the regional international hospital.

As a member of a trail crew, I helped maintain and build new trails throughout the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, which included the use and maintenance of crosscut saws, Pulaskis, and shovels, among other tools. It also included hiking our tools, food, and equipment into the work site. We also worked with and instructed volunteers and youth groups.
