I have thirty-five years’ experience in architecture and construction. The first three years were in South Carolina where I gained experience in architecture. The next five years were in San Antonio, Texas, where I gained experience in architecture, and construction management. In 1997, after moving to North Carolina, I worked as a Project Manager on such projects as high-end Residential & Commercial. In the spring of 2000, I changed my focus to work exclusively with high-end custom homes. I joined Morgan-Keefe as the Chief Estimator & Project Manager. I was offered a project management position of running a satellite office in Highlands, NC for my previous employer, McCarroll Construction. I was responsible for managing the construction of a Five Star, English Chateau and Spa Resort, (The Old Edwards Inn and Spa).In 2006 I started a concrete company “Coastal Concrete Solutions” which I prepared, placed, and finished concrete for commercial & residential projects.In 2007 I was asked by Hill Construction Corp. to supervise an 18,000 sf pre-engineered metal building for a Boat Dealer’s, sales showroom and office spaces. After completing that project with Hill Construction, I moved to Dallas TX to supervise a commercial retail center for Parkway Construction. I then worked as a Project Manager for Olicon, Inc. specializing in Medical and health care facilities. In 2010 I moved back to South Carolina to manage two more projects with Hill Construction in Charleston. In 2011 I began DB Trapp Construction in Sumter, SC where I have been Designing & Constructing Residential Renovations, such as Kitchen & Bath Remodels, Decks & Porches, Cabinet & Interior Finishes, and so much more. In 2018 we changed the name to Trapp Construction and Remodeling.
