As associate I am responsible for the engineering team on multiple projects.The largest current project I am in charge of is the re-development of the old News International site in central London. The proposed development is for over 1800 apartments in several apartment blocks, the tallest being 27 storeys, with a 70,000m2 basement under the whole development.I have been involved from the planning stage of the works to detailed design of structural components and everything in between. The project is on site at the moment and we are providing construction stage services to the contractor.I have also worked on several other large developments around London. Many of these are multi-storey residential buildings in confined sites. The projects often have large basements associated with them.As an associate I am generally responsible for several engineers and CAD technicians, and often my responsibilities cover several developments at once.
