Day-to-day, as well as strategic, operation of the school transport contract for the Ministry of Education across Upper North Island (basically, Turangi, north)Staff and budget Management (10 staff, reducing to 7)Achievements:Established order and structure in a dysfunctional team leading to reduced staff turnover, efficiency gains and a 30% reduction of staff numbers necessary to deliver the contract.Raising our reputation to become the primary Service Agent to the Ministry of Education Returning Officer for School Board of Trustee Elections in 2007; this was a significant undertaking providing this service for around 10% of all schools in New Zealand.

Strategic management of a newly created estate valued at over £300 Million and spread out across 4 major sites and 15 minor sites in the UK and overseas.Managing cross functional teams to create a template document identifying the baseline requirements of helicopter landing sites and conducting an audit against that baseline to establish compliance, including strategic advice on the retention of runways. Combining and prioritising infrastructure programmes from the various locations and allocating resources effectively.Being the focal point for all issues associated with energy management, environment, security, fire and air traffic Achievements:By working collaboratively with both the RAF and Army infrastructure teams I managed to get a higher percentage of our work funded than any other headquarters. Brought together disparate systems and processes into a model that was effective in a joint environment.Melded auditing and reporting systems into a more effective process for the headquarter's needs.
