This comprises of the Hawk Fleet of 14 aircraft. Adept at all aspects of continuity planning, risk assessment and public engagement planning to ensure safety standards are met. Proven to manage £400M worth of assets, including the procurement and logistical deployment of the Red Arrows throughout the world. As one of the Engineering Training Supervisors for a busy front-line engineering environment, I am responsible for the day-to-day delivery of flight line training and assessment of staff competence during the maintenance of mechanical components.Not only do I deliver training, but at short notice I am responsible for leading tasks in support of operational flight plans and maintaining a duty of care for the servicing of all equipment in a timely manner due to the high volume of operational throughput. Analysing Risk/COSHH Assessments to fulfill the requirements of the department including the assurance of all tasks being conducted against relevant policies and legislations. I impart current engineering and technical knowledge to all students; acting as coach, mentor and On-the Job Instructor to ensure personal and professional development is maintained. Duties & Responsibilities:• Deliver training to multi-faceted engineers, allowing them to be able to diagnose complex faults from aircrew briefs, reporting as necessary to senior management and raising the necessary limitations paperwork and subsequent maintenance work orders.• Manage the correct use of tooling and comply with Military Aviation Procedures regarding tool control measures around aircraft. Covering this through key performance assessment criteria during the practical testing of any student. • Provided supervisory leadership on all aspects of flight line activities and maintenance to ensure operational effectiveness and airworthiness; forecasting additional engineering activities as required.• Liaise with internal/external agencies and stakeholders to achieve/exceed KPIs set for the department.• Manage the procurement of all resources required for training, including live aircraft and ground support equipment as needed.
