Materials Distribution Supervisor
CurrentWorking closely with medical, administrative, and technical departments to understand their material needs and ensure seamless coordination of supply chain operations at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.Key Skills and Responsibilities:-Monitoring the hospital’s inventory of medical supplies and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels, avoid shortages, and minimize waste or overstocking.-Overseeing the proper storage of materials in the hospital’s warehouses or stock rooms, ensuring that items are stored according to safety and regulatory standards (e.g., temperature control, sterile conditions). -Coordinating the timely distribution of materials and supplies to various departments and units within the hospital. -Managing a team of supply chain, inventory, and logistics staff. Providing training on proper handling, storage, and distribution of materials, and ensuring compliance. -Addressing issues related to supply chain disruptions, shortages, or delays, and finding alternative solutions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
