Working with the Directors & Officers and Financial Institutions Liability group providing insurance coverage litigation and counseling services to direct insurers and reinsurers from the international and domestic insurance markets. Representing interests of carriers in all stages of complex coverage disputes from pre-litigation and analysis, through coverage litigation and dispute resolution. Practice emphasis on D&O liability and complex commercial general liability.

Member of the Healthcare Professional Liability group. Provided insurance coverage advice to London, Bermuda, and domestic insurers issuing healthcare professional, general, and Federal False Claims Act coverage.

Worked alongside other CICL faculty and students to both promote the growth of the St. John’s Transnational Programs and help CICL members achieve then-existing goals. Duties included research projects covering regulatory & compliance issues, assisting CICL faculty with administrative efficiency, and participation in CICL events, speeches, and roundtables.

- Served as legal intern for a team of supervising Assistant United States Attorneys in the Criminal Division of the United States Attorney's Office- Performed legal research and wrote inter-office memos on such topics as wire fraud, venue requirements, narcotics distribution, conspiracy, and other federal criminal issues.- Assisted in drafting and editing jury charges.

- Served as an intern in the Queens County Treatment Courts for the Honorable Marcia P. Hirsch. This court part includes the Drug Treatment, Drug Diversion, Veterans, Mental Health, and DWI courts.- Performed legal research and prepared a memorandum of law addressing potential issues with non-citizens pleading guilty to felony charges as a requirement of pre-trial diversion.- Collaborated with Justice Hirsch to compile testimonials,statistics, and other information on Trauma and Trauma Informed Care within a PowerPoint to be presented by the Justice Hirsch at a convention for Problem-Solving Courts.

- Managed misdemeanor case load throughout the duration of the internship program involving assaults, petit larcenies, drug possession, and other crimes.- Drafted and edited various motions and inter-office memoranda.- Conducted legal research for prosecuting attorneys on issues of criminal law and criminal procedure pertinent to both misdemeanor and felony cases

- Assisted prosecuting attorneys in preparation for trial, including major felonies.- Conducted phone interviews and research on larceny cases with loss prevention offices.- Evaluated and conducted initial work-up of felony files following police arrests.
