However, before that Cap'n Bob decided to launch a new 24 Hour newspaper LDN (London Daily News), so given responsibility for purchasing all the commercial systems and recruiting staff to run this new 34 hour newspaper (excluding front-end systems). LDN was a great success until Cap'n Bob decided to interfere with the journalistic content insisting the front page read 'How to Get Maggie Out'. Having launched a paper that was loved by the 'Conservative' population, in one foul swoop, Cap'n Bob managed to alienate 99% of his readership. LDN closes! Show less

What can I say? Joined what was TNL to develop and implement new technology for the Times, Sunday Times and the Supplements. Responsible for all the commercial systems. Unions very 'active' so restricted in what I was able to achieve until the Wapping Project! It worked and the rest, they say, is History. Cap'n Bob then tempted me to join his ship to do the same!
