2010-2013: Provided Constructing Engineering support and Design-Build Coordination and Management to multiple Design-Build Projects throughout the U.S. and Canada such as 500 kV ILM Transmission Line Project, British Columbia and Port Mann Highway 1, British Columbia. Managed Design-Build PPP procurement pursuits for Flatiron on: Hasting Bridge Replacement, Hastings, MN; Willamette River Bridge, Portland, OR; SR-520 Floating Bridges Phase II, Seattle, WA; Ohio River Bridges East End Crossing, Louisville, KY; Grand Avenue Bridge, Glenwood Springs, CO; 2008-2012 - Minnesota Department of Transportation, I-35W Emergency Replacement Bridge, Minneapolis, MN (Construction Costs: $234 million), Construction Engineer/ Design Coordinator/ Project Manager responsible for leading a team of 8 Field Engineers during the casting and erection of the 500 foot long precast balanced cantilever mainspans of the St. Anthony Falls I35W Bridge design-build, which opened to traffic just 11 months after construction began. Also served as the Post-tensioning and Grouting Engineer where responsibilities included: preparing post-tensioning logs and overseeing all post-tensioning operations on the bridge, training Field Engineers, and where necessary developing alternative post-tensioning sequences to improve constructability. As Project Manager after Substantial completion Tullis managed and executed all project closeout work and the 3 year project warranty.
