As the IT manager, it was my responsibility to provide all of the onsite technical and managerial IT support needs at the Rancho Cordova, CA facility. Duties started out with onsite a 2-month completion time frame of building the site IT infrastructure in collaboration with an east coast implementation team in setting up 4 racks of Windows and Linux virtual servers and related appliances along with the installation of software systems. This configuration included a connection into a private virtual cloud environment hosted by our global offices. Worked closely with external security auditors to securing the infrastructure that aligned with the Minimum Acceptable Risk Standards for Exchanges (MARS-E) required by the state of California. Implemented a remote DR site in Texas that included nightly automated backup of customer data. Maintained CCTV surveillance system. Configured CISCO digital phone system at site. Developed automated software solutions to process outbound print/mail healthcare documents using PowerShell, Visual Basic and C++ scripting in addition to scripting tools provided by a private vendor to automate 24-hour processing of data and reporting. Maintained SharePoint site for storage of all critical documents. Responsible for on-site configuration of Role-based access control using Active Directory.
