Preform repairs, overhauls, installs, modifications, and maintenance on complex components and systems down to the component level and replacing defective components using standard 2M procedures. Knowledge of high power/high frequency RF, computers, electro/mechanics, infrared lasers, operational electronic principles such as circuit elements, digital logic, microprocessors, non-volatile memory, interface circuits, digital transmission lines, microwaves, antennae, signal flow, amplifiers, displays, Communication, Navigation, GPS, Mission, Data, Weapons, and Electronic Countermeasures systems for Aircraft and Helicopters. Use computer-based manuals and assembly instructions to perform component removal and replacement. I also use drawings, schematics, and block diagrams to aid in troubleshooting and diagnosis of defective components. I perform repair and maintenance of systems using many general and hand tools and power tools as well as system and use particular tools and equipment.
