I am incredibly proud to be a co-founder and board member of Artemis Technologies, a global leader in transformative clean maritime solutions based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.My ethos is rooted in leaving a lasting positive impact on our world, continuously looking for new and better ways to do things and leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive meaningful change.At Artemis, we firmly believe in the power of collaboration. Through initiatives like the Belfast Maritime Consortium we have led and forged alliances to secure significant support and backing, including a £33m grant from UK Research and Innovation’s Strength in Places Fund. This funding has propelled our eFoiler® technology forward, paving the way for groundbreaking projects such as the world's first 100% electric foiling passenger ferry, which will hit the water in 2024.Beyond Artemis, I serve as Chair of Maritime UK’s Regional Council, shaping policy for a sustainable maritime future by leading top level governance and driving delivery of the UK Government’s Maritime 2050 recommendations.I am also actively involved in Operation Zero, a UK Government initiative aiming to accelerate the adoption of zero-emission vessels for offshore wind operations in the North Sea.My vision is long term and focussed on creating a better future for all.
