I started out as a plumber at the age of 16. And quickly became obsessed with finding tactics to build bathrooms as quickly as humanly possible, because as plumbers we're largely measured by productivity. So much so that I wrote down all ideas that I came up in a book, together with some fellow plumbing colleagues. Then almost by accident I started Plumbear, after coming up with some tools I thought would make my job easier - and quickly found out that my colleagues loved the idea as well. I started a community for plumbers online, and invested time to work side-by-side with real users to understand the demands of a constantly changing workplace and how we can best deliver solutions for a safer, smoother and more productive jobsite. I thought about all the frustrations, needs, and previous limitations I've encountered in my career and set out to completely rethink the tools we use in our job every day.
