During my time at GHD I have been responsible for the delivery of a range of projects including critical infrastructure in the transport, power and water utilities, defence and local government sectors. I have led a team of 24 engineers and consultants including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and structural engineers and security consultants who work predominately across the property and buildings sector.I have experience in the detailed design of power transmission and distribution, low voltage protection and distribution and public area and street lighting. I also have experience in electrical network master planning. I created, and further developed, a number of detailed Microsoft Excel engineering tools that have resulted in significant efficiencies in design, and continue to look for opportunities to develop such models and tools.I work both independently and as a member and/or lead of teams delivering projects. In my current role, I am responsible for client and stakeholder liaison, proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract management, including the management of sub-consultants and sub-contractors, financial performance of jobs and co-ordination of project teams.I have enjoyed every opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of junior engineers in various projects. I have mentored and supervised young engineers and undergraduate students and continue to do so though ongoing project work.
