This ‘Brevet’ is an intensive training program in Emergency Medicine that is required in Belgium for any doctor that wants to work unsupervised in an Emergency Department of a secondary or tertiary hospital.This involves sitting a theoretical (Nov 2007) and practical exam (Dec 2007) + performing a minimum of 200 hours rotations in a supervised ED position + performing minimum 10 successful `life-saving` events.I successfully completed the training.
