Manage construction of small cell sites to include ordering materials, managing subcontractors and crews. Interact with local government officials to ensure compliance with municipalities. Work closely with site acquisition team assuring that plans meet design criteria.

Review plans and permits under the supervision of a professional engineerProvides a variety information to customers by contacts of personnel to include inter and intra departmental administrative, engineering and construction personnel, other government agencies, contractors, consultants and the public to exchange information, coordinate work, answer questions and respond to complaints.Responsible for progressively complex projects by preparing cost estimates, engineering, feasibility reports and studies, projects, and assigned programsInspect and monitor projects for legal compliance by reviewing work completed by contractors and monitoring compliance to specifications.Prepares contract documents, technical specifications and plans. Prepares and monitors project and program schedules and budgets. Prepares progress and final reports and estimates.Manage and coordinate special projects Supervises and/or leads a design team in the preparation of preliminary and long range plans, schedules, estimates, budgets, detail final construction plans, specifications, special conditions and agreements. Performs multiple types of inspection/coordination of City of Austin construction projects (new and renovation work) for compliance of contracts, codes, specifications, health and safety, and environmental regulations.Performs inspections on CIP projects and developer reimbursements.Reviews plans, specifications, contracts, ordinances, etc.Coordinate division/section activities with outside contractors.Schedule and observe flow tests, lab tests, soil density tests and/or any other types of tests.Interprets, explains and enforces city policies and procedures regarding technical standards, specifications, and ordinances.Compiles data and information for reports, cost estimates, change orders and revisions, and construction progress payment.Issue Stop Work Orders for violations.Write informational reports.Serves as key lead in the field and office.Prepare change orders and monthly construction pay estimates.Knowledge of street, sidewalk and concrete construction methods, practices and materials.Knowledge of the methods used in order to read and interpret blueprints, plans, maps and/or specifications.Knowledge of proper safety practices, procedures and regulations applicable to work being performed.Knowledge of heavy construction materials and methods.Knowledge of applicable building codes, ordinances and regulations.Knowledge of contract language.Skill in making accurate measurements and computing quantities of materials used in construction.Skill in maintaining records and preparing written reports.Skill in recognizing deviations from drawings and specifications.Skill in determining quality of materials, workmanship and construction methods.Skill in requirements both orally and in writing to architects, contractors, developers and the public.Skill in interpreting building codes and recognizing the need for correction of construction activities that deviate from specifications
