Responsible for administering and planning operations and daily tasks for a team of 8 men along with the maintenance and tactical use of an armoured fighting vehicle.

Responsible for teaching and training all aspects of military life to recruits joining the army under the age of 17 years 9 months. Starting from basic personal administration, such as washing, shaving and how to conduct yourself in public, To advanced weapon handling, map reading and battlefield First Aid.Other tasks during this time included the project management of memorial event, celebrating the battle of Peninsula. This day required the outsourcing of entertainment and a guest speaker, liaison with catering, the organisation and direction of a voluntary workforce. As well a number of team competitions designed top be both physically and mentally demanding all culminating in prize giving presentation.

Afghanistan

A 6 month deployment to Afghanistan saw the employment as a mentor to the Afghan National Army (ANA). Coupled with an ANA Sergeant together responsible for the administration of 30+ ANA soldiers. Before the deployment my time and skills were primarily used to assist with the regiments task of preparation and training. This consisted of numerous "Train the Trainer" courses and then being responsible for cascading the knowledge amongst both junior and senior members of the regiment.

During this time saw a deployment to Afghanistan as a member of the Operational Mentor and Liaison Teams(OMLT) Here I worked closely with Afghan forces securing the stability of many areas of Helmand Province.

As a member of a section within a rifle company I was fortunate enough to spend time and apply my trade in the following locations;Northern Ireland,Kabul Afghanistan,Belize,Banja Luka and Sarajevo Bosnia and Herzegovina.
