manage individual cases for men and women having infectious disease and/or mental health disparities. Work with incarcerated men and women as they transition from Connecticut’s Department of Corrections back into the community. Work with data entry to input all data into the department’s clinical and research databases. Assist with daily operations, including quality assurance, and protecting all HIPPA information, ensuring patient confidentiality. Conduct both rapid HIV and Hepatitis screening and testing. Served as a Research Assistant conducting interviews both in prison and the community, adhering to time sensitive deadlines. Worked in conjunction with a Connecticut infectious disease referral coordinator to induct people into our research programs. Screened participants to see if they meet certain criteria for different research projects. Actively went into the community to locate clients if we were unable to contact them.

At the Community Health Network Foundation, work alongside their Cooking Matters program, which seeks to educate low-income and underserved populations on healthy eating habits and appropriately using minimal resources. Review current pretest and posttest data to understand the impact Cooking Matters has in the community. Work to modify their evaluation criteria and implement a new plan for continuing evaluations of the curriculum.
