In my most recent position, I played a pivotal role in demonstrating and actualizing individualized therapy regimens for patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular disorders, post-operative orthopedic surgeries, sports and work related injuries for up to 14 patients per shift in an acute care, outpatient environment. Under PT supervision, I developed exercise programs for patients that aimed to improve their overall health and wellness allowing them to maximize therapeutic gain and to safely reside in their least restrictive settings.Selected Accomplishments and Contributions:• Completed 96% patient arrival rate and completed more than 2890 treatments in 2019.

In my first PTA role, I developed and implemented individualized, therapeutic regimens for up to 14 patients per day utilizing varied modalities including manual therapy, exercise programs, and aquatic therapy to empower individuals to improve their function, mobility, and range of motion. The emphasis in this practice was the treatment of orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions. I ensured that all patients and families knew and understood the prescribed therapy plan to promote skill transfer and continued rehabilitative healing leading to improved healthcare outcomes.Selected Contributions and Accomplishments:• Drafted and implemented a new clinic layout that improved special use and increased operating efficiency.
