Improved a number of commercial properties monthly cash flow with industry leading ideas from concept through to massive improvement though clashed with existing management as concepts were exceptional and effective. Tough to call out related parties for poor and expensive decisions but honesty wins out and results tell the truth!

Built custom homes in London, Dorchester and Courtland, Ontario. Oversee subcontractor performance while managing timelines in project management.

Partner in the construction of 13 custom built homes in London Ontario with experienced master builder. Overseeing sub-trades, scheduled building inspections, scheduling client site visits, managed site finishing and Tarion Warranty Program follow up.

Built 800+ client based financial planning practice which was sold at end of 2005 with a transition period into June 2006. The practice mainly focused on family clients and was supplemented with group pension and R.R.S.P. plans along with individual insurance activities. Completed individual Canadian and U.S. tax returns for approximately 50 family units. Initiated various marketing programs to build client base through on-going research, education and outside expertise. Turnaround situation; successfully reshaped organization, through cost cutting, utilization modeling and revenue adjustments while expanding business categories. Sourced and negotiated relocation from lease to purchase opportunity. Maximized new banking relations to fund property improvements while offering optional leaseback to TSX 50 corporation which acted as a down payment on commercial property purchase. Extensive hands on work in all aspects of turnaround while managing day to day operation and cashflow of 100+ employee organization.

Financial consulting to the Chief Financial Officer working within the Treasury group as well as with Vice Chairman on development of new financial reporting system. Provided C.F.O. with direct support through Microsoft Power Point presentations for Board of Director's quarterly/annual meetings along with Moody's Rating Service meetings during real estate crisis of 1991/92.

Moved from United States to London, Ontario Canada to build co-operative direct mail business through direct sales to retailers including locally owned Burger King, Pizza Hut, Midas, as well as mom and pop retailers. Designed marketing campaigns within ten thousand home radiuses then expanded through a phased rollout over a 18 month period and sold business in 1989 which financed my return to school for a two year M.B.A. program. Landed North American wide contract with Wall Street Journal and coordinated mailings through American marketplace with over forty different Val Pak dealers.

Completed all state and federal tax filings as well as handled all outside audits for income taxes and sales and use taxes from 11 state agencies. Reporting to Treasurer, performed research in areas of taxation to prepare for state audits which led to minimizing taxes in multiple areas on a regular basis.
