Lead Architect for a variety of projects including design, contract management and facility condition assessment surveys. Projects include the following: Surveillance Radar Program, Republic of Taiwan Department of DefenseDesign-build project for a radar facility complex -- involved the development of a campus-scale complex that included sitework, technical and support facilities. Services included on-site field surveys, programming, code analysis, design and contract documents, and contract management. Provided general architectural support services as part of international, multi-office collaboration. US Department of Energy, Stanford Linear Accelerator CenterCondition Assessment Survey of five campus buildings. Utilizing CAIS 2000 software, results of the survey were used to calculate deferred maintenance, Replacement Plant Values (RPV) and to verify existing DOE data against each asset. US Department of Defense, Fort Monroe, VACondition Assessment of 88 residences at one of the nation’s oldest military installations; many buildings had suffered significant damage from a recent hurricane. Survey included architectural systems and sitework and used to develop contracts for emergency reconstruction. US Department of Energy, Pantex PlantCondition Assessment Survey of the DOE plant in Amarillo, Texas; included variety of building sizes, construction types and uses at a high security site.

General practice of Architecture for the US Department of Defense- various duties related to design including programming, site planning, presentation drawings, presentation models, design of new and renovated buildings and the preparation of contract drawings and specifications. HTA/LTA Housing RenovationProject Architect for the management and oversight of a 132 unit, multi-year renovation project. The houses, built in the 1930s included single family and duplex units that are eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Duties included review of A-E documents, coordination of construction scheduling, submittal review, site inspection and preparation/ negotiation of change orders.

Taught architectural design in a five-year professional program. Courses included general principles related to the design process and graphic presentation: theory, problem analysis, programming, building systems, design concept and development, and the presentation of drawings and models.
