Since January 2022 I have worked for the Engineering Department at ADM Design Services, where I have had the opportunity to work closely with many engineers, even often being asked to do specific tasks for and with them. Recently, I've had the opportunity to be instructed closely by a superior as they trained me to complete Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams.During my first semester of school, I was asked to become a Laboratory Assistant by my Biology Professor. Through that opportunity of working in labs, the processes of preparing and setting up labs taught me more about what is needed to be done to achieve a certain outcome, and with that, also greatly increased my skills in following directions. Helping other students with their Labs also facilitated the development of my communication skills, as I would often have to simplify ideas and topics to help others understand a specific subject.
