Successfully established Beatson Cancer Charity, as one of Scotland’s highest profile and most dynamic organisations through a complex merger process, engaging stakeholders including NHS and Scottish Government, whilst working with the Board to establish an effective governance, monitoring and evaluation structure in line with legal obligations and the highest standards of probity.Business set up, brand development, launch and strategic development of Beatson Cancer Charity, an independent organisation with a unique partnership with the NHS and the wider community, providing high quality patient and family support services through an award-winning Wellbeing Centre, throughout the wards and departments of the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, the busiest in the UK, and at cancer treatment facilities and in the wider community across the west of Scotland. Also, developed grant funding model for specialist clinical staff, innovative service developments, world leading research projects and cancer education and awareness initiatives. Leading exceptional organisational development of Beaton Cancer Charity in a complex and competitive environment from a zero-base, achieving income more than £14 million in the first 3 years, programme expenditure and grant funding of £14 million, growing to 75 staff, 20 Board Members, 250 volunteers, 80 Ambassadors.
