Data Practice Lead
CurrentIn this role I am working to expand our use of technology and helping to make others more efficient, I do this by exploring new ways to solve problems and document the process so others can learn and leverage them. I helped to create new process documentation for the ETL portion of Data Publication, EDC scanning set up and monitoring and Control‐m Application Integrator. This allows teammates to complete the same task in a repeatable process.Working with our third-party partners we created a code quality tool. This will automate steps that are currently completed manually and provide better results to make sure our development standards are followed. We can use this to help understand areas that we need to focus more time on during onboarding and training. Checking over 200 standards and providing feedback minutes will drive faster development times and more supportable code. I am often asked to investigate projects that are having difficulties and evaluate how to get them back on track. I use my ability to look at complex scenarios and break them down into smaller components, always staying focused on how to deliver value. I am constantly working with developers, business partners, project managers, solution architects, directors, and executives to help bridge the gap and create clarity to the audience, I tailor my message to the audience at the right level to make sure each group get the details they need to make the right decisions. OneAmerica continues to transform, we must improve our code deployment process and think of more ways to automate, I am exploring ways to accomplish this with our ETL deployment and enterprise scheduling. In order for me to better partner with our Data and Analytics team and to promote solving problems differently I must continue to grow my skills. This year my educational goals include getting my CDMP Certification, Azure Fundamentals Certification, and Informatica Master Data Management Beginner Certification.
