Managing Attorney
CurrentThe Alameda County Homeless Action Center (HAC) is a $2.5M legal services organization with offices in Berkeley and Oakland. The mission of HAC is to provide high quality legal services to people who are homeless and disabled while respecting the dignity of each person. Since I joined HAC in 2006, the agency has grown five-fold and currently represents over 1,000 clients. My primary responsibilities are divided between direct supervision of a team of attorneys and legal advocates while also representing the agency in public hearings and bidders conferences with community stakeholders, including pro bono counsel, elected officials, department heads and other legal services executives.
