As the chief legal counsel for T&M, a 300+ employee engineering firm, I manage all of T&M’s legal matters and provide legal guidance and support to the CEO, Board of Directors, and all of T&M’s business operations. Responsibilities include litigation management, drafting and negotiating agreements, M&A, labor and employment counsel, corporate licensing, compliance, and risk management.

Provided legal counsel on a wide variety of issues involving AECOM Energy & Construction, Inc.'s business segments, including corporate compliance, partnering arrangements, claims management, and contract, statutory and regulatory law. Lead counsel in the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts (EPC, engineering services, construction management, program management) with various commercial models (fixed price, target price, T&M, GMAX). Matters included a multi-billion dollar fixed price EPC project to decommission a nuclear facility, steam generator replacement EPC projects with revenues in excess of $100 million for nuclear utility clients, as well as other EPC, engineering services, construction management, and program management projects for various AECOM nuclear and fossil utility and industrial process clients. Drafted and negotiated contractual instruments underlying recent AECOM joint ventures, including LLC operating agreements, partnership agreements, joint venture agreements, and teaming agreements. Oversaw outside counsel in various litigation matters.

Handled all aspects of litigation in environmental, commercial, construction, and real estate matters. Responsibilities included the drafting of pleadings, briefs, and discovery, arguing motions in state and federal courts, taking and defending depositions, and representing clients in mediation and arbitrations.
