• Manage the 3rd Line IT engineers across all campuses (PDR, leave and cover, mentoring, training).• Ensuring change management and other ITIL principles are adhered to ensuring the IT provision is meeting all requirements for successful teaching and learning.• Responsible for development and operation of all ICT systems throughout the sites of the College.• Ensure the College meets all legal obligations (GDPR, licencing, asset register, backups, DRP).• Administration of Windows & Linux Servers running on VMWare and HyperV. Including management and installation of the physical hosts and storage and the client VMs running Windows 2003 – 2019 server, AD, group policy, DNS, DHCP etc.• Installation and ongoing management of the EPOS and cashless catering system.• Design and configuration of group wide LAN/WAN using both Cisco and HP hardware.• Network management of an 8000+ client wired and wireless network running across the sites over 1Gb leased lines and KSPN connections.• Planned and worked on the merger of K College and Hadlow college systems to create a new domain, Skype topology, Exchange etc and migrate users and resources.• Most recently worked on migration of on-prem Exchange, Skype for Business, SharePoint etc into Office 365.• Ongoing creation of content, training, design, build and administration for the college SharePoint (2010/2013/2016/2019) based Intranet. Including original build and upgrades to the server farm.• Currently working on migrating all Hadlow Group systems into its new owner’s systems (NKC Dartford).

• Responsible for the operation and development of all ICT systems throughout the sites of the College at Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Henwood, Hadlow, Greenwich and minor satellite sites.• Rolled Lync 2010 to K College sites before later migrating to Lync 2013 and federating with Hadlow.• Kept services such as Exchange up to date with migrations from 2010 upwards.• Management of 2nd line, 1st line and helpdesk technicians and liaising with other college departments to ensure IT provision is meeting all requirements for successful teaching and learning.• Administration of Windows Servers running on VMWare and HyperV. Including management and installation of the physical hosts and the client VMs running Windows 2003 – 2012 server.• Apple Mac and iOS device support and user training.• Support to staff and students with general hardware and software issues. Including Windows 7 , 8 & 10, MS Office, Adobe products etc.• Networking (wired / wireless) including configuration of network using Cisco hardware. • Installation and creation of content, training, and administration for the college SharePoint Intranet.

• Design and delivery of Home Automation and Home Cinema installations. (Using RTI, AMX, Lutron, Rako etc.)• Eutelsat Tooway satellite broadband installations in the UK and Europe.• Alternative energy systems design and installation (PV & wind).• VOIP System installation using Cisco and Microsoft (Lync) products.• IP based CCTV Systems.• Digital signage using Samsung and AMX products.

• Responsible for the operation and development of all ICT systems throughout the site.• Managing a helpdesk, using ITIL principles and ensuring SLAs were being met.• Controlling the IT budget and managing resources, external contracts and third parties to meet the needs of the business.• Ensuring the Academy met all legal obligations (software licenses, asset register, DRP, data protection).• Recruiting, managing, and training IT support staff.• Network management of a 1000+ client wired and wireless network running Windows XP & 7 clients on a Windows Server 2003 / 2008 platform. • Administration of Windows Servers running on ESX and ESXi virtual machines. Including extensive use of AD, group policy, DNS, DHCP etc.• Networking (wired / wireless) including configuration of VLANs using Cisco switching hardware.• Evaluating new hardware and software.• Responsibility for data backup using BackupEXEC.• Worked with building partner (Carillon) and IT, AV, security & telecoms suppliers on the design and implementation of hardware installed in the academies’ new buildings to ensure these systems were resilient, met the academies’ needs, and were delivered within budget. This involved the evaluation of virtualization using VMware and Citrix Xen desktop solutions. • Also worked on the design and implementation of AV solutions for immersive learning environments, such as video walls and edge blended projection using AMX control.
