I am the technical lead for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) for the East Bay Municipal Utility District in Oakland, California. Although, I report to the Water Conservation Department I work with many different departments on this project, provide technical assistance with meters, leak detection, submeters and water loss control. In my 25 years at EBMUD, I have also worked on the Seismic Improvement Program and in the Water Supply Improvements Division. I have has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley and an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I am licensed in both civil and mechanical engineering. Prior to joining EBMUD in 1999, I worked with Foster Wheeler and Mobil Oil.
