Previously, I was the Commercial Manager on the Duyen Hai 3 Extension Power Station new construction fossil project in the Mu U Commune in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam for three years.Earlier, I worked in Program Management, Project Management and Project Controls for Black & Veatch for Eskom in South Africa for 6 years.I was responsible for guiding the client to develop effective project management processes, systems, tools and human resources and then efficiently implementing the systems on new projects throughout Eskom. I produce results through delivery of simple, documented and disciplined project management solutions tailored to the needs of the project. I was awarded a license by the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a Senior Reactor Operator (Refuel) and served as a US Navy Officer. I have worked at various nuclear utilities and government and commercial projects as a consultant and in-house employee.I served as a successful senior Project Controls Manager on complex industrial projects from nuclear power plants, fossil new construction, chemical weapons demilitarization and nuclear weapons cleanup. I have a proven track record in successful delivery of strategic objectives. I led and participated in various system development projects for nuclear utilities and AE firms including Washington Group International, Entergy, Exelon and GE including development of project controls guides and standards.I served as a Nuclear Startup Test Engineer writing and implementing startup test procedures for new plant startup. I worked nuclear jobs in Korea, Canada, Egypt and the U.S. I am a licensed attorney and member of the State Bar in California and Colorado, having practiced commercial law in private practice 1991-1992.
