I have worked in the IT field for 18 years at this point. I started at ground zero as a Help Desk technician and moved into Systems Administration followed by Network Administration. I worked in a combination of those two roles for a number of years and after gaining enough experience I moved into senior roles in both areas and began managing both Help Desk staff and systems and network administrators. Having worked within small IT organizations I have had hands on experience with many aspects of an IT department. Budgeting, design, installation, migrations and management while continuing to be hands on with technology. I am a strong believer in developing the teams I work with and pushing that we always work to improve our processes and performance.
