Setting up and leading a team to implement the quality process and tracking for all high end scientific or high value, high tolerance componentsMain responsibilities included;• Managing the receipting and quality process for all new components including the refurbishment for the ‘MAST’ fusion Machine (140,000), this included all components were dimensionally inspected, cleaned to Ultra High Vacuum standard and free from any Non Conformances ensuring components have all required remedial work before being released to the project. • Writing and implementing procedures for the tracking and traceability of bespoke components using two purpose built databases in line with ISO9001.• Training and motivating people to adopt a structured and disciplined approach following procedures.• Planning and preparing appropriate packaging for all equipment being removed from the two fusion machines• Writing Risk Assessments and Work Control documentation
