Travelled to New Zealand to sucessfully rebrand The Novotel Palmerston North into the TOGA brand. 4 1/2 Star Travelodge Hotel. The property consisted of 85 new hotel rooms plus 26 Heritage Rooms, 2 bars, 1 restaurant plus a 500 seat conference facility.I was fully responsible for the revenue mangament and sales of the property along with operations.Ran the property automonously with head office being in Sydney. Was responsible for the signing of large corporate contracts into both the NZ property and across Australia. The 2 most notable being Fonterra and Toyota.

Commenced my tenure with Constellation as Food & Beverage Manager for The Chifley on the Terrace Hotel in Perth where i successfully turned a business that was struggling for profit and business into a thriving and profitable, and fun, operation. 1 year after commencing was rewarded with my own property in Perth as General Manager. Rebranding a Metro Hotel into a Constellation Managed "Claisebrook Hotel". Upon takeover the property was on 8% occupancy. Through strong marketing and sales, property repositioning and a makeover the property quickly built to a 75% average occupancy and turned monthly profits.Just over 12 months into the operation the property owners sold.I was given the task of over seeing the pre-opening (final stages of construction) and opening operations of a 5 Star managed resort in Kuranda, Tropical North Queensland.I, along with the Resorts administraion manager, built an onsite reservations system, as no computers arrived in time for opening, for which we ran the property on for the first month of operations successfully and seamlessly. We opened to full occupancy on our first month.After approximately 8 months I was asked to move to Melbourne to assist in a property that was floundering and had not made a profit since opening it's doors 2 years previously. The Chifley off Little Bourke, a 4 1/2 star Boutique style property consisting of 80 apartment style rooms with the four top floors being strata managed private apartments, a fine dining restaurant owned and ran by the hotel.In the first month I made the decision to close the restaurant and lease the space to an outside operator as it was simply bleeding money. After calling in owed monies to the property and re-positioning the marketing we managed to increase the occupancy to an average in the high 70s - 80%. With rental funds immediately coming in from the restaurant and leaner staffing costs the property turned it's first profit 2 months into my tenure and then proceeded to do so!
