T1D Exchange is a nonprofit organization providing an array of real world evidence and research services in the diabetes arena. Our programs include managing a quality improvement collaborative of dozens of leading diabetes centers in the US, a direct to patient, online registry of more than 13,000 people living with Type 1 diabetes, and a team of researchers offering outcomes research, market research and various study recruitment services for diabetes life sciences organizations. Data from our programs is used to support various advocacy efforts for people with diabetes. Much of our work is presented at major medical conferences and often published in peer-reviewed journals.

Chronicare was acquired by QuiO in May 2019 as a digital health & remote monitoring company utilizing connected devices and digital engagement tools to improve medication adherence and outcomes in people with chronic disease. The initial offering focused on smart insulin pen caps and bluetooth glucose monitoring (BGM and CGM) to help optimize insulin use in people with diabetes.

Led all global commercial activities (sales, marketing, business development, project management) for AgaMatrix, a private medical device and diagnostics company that develops and manufactures blood glucose monitoring / mobile health products for people with diabetes.

Led all global commercial planning and business development / partnership activities for Echo Therapeutics, a company developing a noninvasive, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system, initially for use in critically ill patients within the hospital. Also involved in corporate financing activities, including $35MM in equity financing in 2012-2013.

Led global marketing planning for insulin delivery and continuous glucose monitoring business at Animas and LifeScan, including new product development, portfolio planning and global product and lifecycle management activities. Led global commercial launch of Animas Vibe (Dexcom CGM-enabled insulin pump) as well as several insulin pump and CGM reporting and remote monitoring solutions for patients and providers.

Led commercial planning for multiple new products / indications in CNS and Oncology at McNeil Specialty Pharmaceuticals, including new indication in Adults for CONCERTA, a $1 Billion revenue product for treating Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Managed various strategic planning projects for overall J&J Pharmaceuticals sector, as well as the Global Strategic Marketing organization (PGSM).

Managed various healthcare strategy and operations projections, primarily in the managed care and healthcare delivery sectors. Clients included Kaiser Permanente, Blue Shield of California and Catholic Healthcare West.

Conducted various strategic planning, disease management and marketing strategy projects in pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Clients included Pfizer, Genentech, Hoechst (now Sanofi-Aventis) and Smithkline Beecham (now Glaxo SmithKline).
