Worked on an individual project with team supervision to develop a machine learning solution for the hospital readmissions collaborative. This included:Leveraging my AI experience in my graduate program to develop a machine learning solution using recurrent neural networks with Python and Tensorflow. An LSTM cell was used to fix the vanishing gradients issue with RNNs.Additionally, I used SQL to perform data quality assessment, data cleansing and table joining on the NYS Medicaid data set (10 GB+). SQL through SAS was used to perform initial analytics for data assessment that was specific to my project.

-Designed and executed data analysis research on key performance indicators in Tigress’ quantitative EVA model; improvements made assisted in raising our six month portfolio return to 8.85%, leading the financial industry per Zacks Investment Research.- Utilized R to conduct statistical research under the supervision of the Director of Research on over 1 million data points; this included various regression analysis, ARIMA Modeling, and k-means clustering.- Designed the Tigress Internal Performance Research Database, creating quantitative metrics to measure department success and target areas for improvement. This resulted in lowering median business day turnaround time by 74% and raising our average output of initiations per month 245%.- Generated quantitative momentum trading model in the scope of Tigress’ coverage universe to target short term opportunities for Tigress’ clients and traders.Member FINRA/MSRB/SIPC
