A Commercial and Government funded Training Company offering Safety and Skills Training to the Energy and Childcare Sectors. I was responsible for a staff of over 30. The company had a turnover in excess of £1 million and delivered 2 ESF projects directed towards the ‘upskilling’ of local unemployed to meet the skills shortages identified in the local Engineering Construction Industry (ECI). Notable achievements during this period the company – • was recognised by John Rimington (former Director General of the HSE) for its’ contribution to the development of the CCNSG Safety Passport Initiative which was conceived by organizations on the Milford Haven waterway and now has National uptake with over 20000 individuals trained every year. Prestige Training designed and distributed the original training material to over 80 training companies across the UK• Trained in excess of 300 workers for the local ECI and was the only ECITB Apprentice Training Centre in Wales.• was acclaimed for its welding tuition – apprentice Gareth Rees won the UK skill weld competition at the TWI Cambridge and went on to achieve seventh place in the World Skills event in Helsinki.

Founder Director of the Safety Pass Alliance ( SPA) Ltd – a company that was formed out of the success of the CCNSG safety passport initiative, The SPA developed the concept and successfully extended it into other sectors e.g, Food , Petroleum Retail and Quarry sectors.
