Throughout the course of my undergraduate studies and research, I became interested in analytical, synthetic, and medicinal chemistry. My cumulative research project involved modeling a two-step synthesis of an amino acid derivative, providing a possibly useful synthetic pathway for a suggested enzymatic inhibitor. I am currently seeking new employment opportunities. Previously, I worked as a senior research technician for a metabolomics core at the University of Chicago, research technologist for a biomedical engineering lab at Northwestern University, an associate chemist in Fresenius Kabi USA's quality control department, and a materials characterization chemist in the organic physical analysis lab at Honeywell UOP.Specialties: HPLC, UPLC, GC/MS, LC/MS, LC/MS/MS, extractions, data processing/interpretation, literature research, organic physical properties analysis, organic synthesis, flash chromatography
