Personal profile/attributesI am a highly motivated individual with a determination to see things through to completion. I have a reputation of being a very patient and understanding person who always respects the individuality in everyone. As a friend I would be described by others as dependable; loyal but above all, honest. Experience/specialisms/strengths I have a proven track record over the years to adapting well to new and different career paths and roles. I have a reputation in work and personally as a creative; enthusiastic, and committed individual who takes great pride in anything that I take on, and always producing a high standard of results. In my own opinion one of my best strengths is having the ability to see the ‘bigger picture’ and where my role fits in with this and how improvements/developments can be made to increase efficiency or growth.Achievements During some of my time in Social Care I was very proud to have been responsible for supporting people with complex needs and severe reputations to leave long stay hospitals and to live independently in their own homes. In 2005 my leadership was praised in a joint Care Inspectorate and Her Majesty’s Inspectors of Education report during my career in Early Years management. As a very creative and organised person I have had great success in project managing many large events with most recent being in 2013 I project managed an amazing Fashion Show with Neighbourhood Networks and people with mild learning disabilities with around 90 participants. This involved months of preparation sourcing support from many communities who provided workshops and skills on areas such as drama; dance; costume making; arts & crafts, etc. As well as being a highly entertaining event for around 300 people, I was also proud to see the development in individuals of new skills, improved confidence & increased self-esteem.
