Role• Overall arching leadership of Resources Business Development & Partnership Strategy/Plan.• Responsible for business development in the Welfare to Work and Employability & Skills Sector; • Driving the sales of training and recruitment solutions to companies from micro SME’s to large multinationals leading a team of Sales Managers and Account Managers setting KPI’s• Generate new volume business opportunities across the Northern region through effective identification of new organisations, networking and marketing campaigns, procurement• Developing and project managing/coordinating of key national and regional accounts to maximise project success• Bid writing and Negotiation of prime and subcontractor agreements at Board level• Day to day running of £1.2million 16-18 apprenticeship budget, setting KPI’s overseeing delivery• Design of employability/skills/enterprise delivery & analysed financial models; • General organisational business management including HR and day to day operations including Profit & Loss and Budgets and income forecasting• Extensive policy monitoring, reviews and analysis for senior management over all responsibility for MIS System and funding claims (PICS)• Operations Director of the Apprenticeship Programme and Sub-ContractorsAchievements• Successful project management implementation for the Work Programme;• Won over £8.5million worth of contracts and funding over 3 years • Increased turnover from £823k 2008 to £2.8m 2010• Successful in growth for 2011/12 securing SFA funding worth £1.2m• Partnership development including the foundation of Northumbria Training Group (NTG Ltd);• Developing and implementing sector route-ways, apprenticeship programs, pre-employment training, end to end recruitment (internal and external) and promote up-skill workforce qualifications throughout current and new employers• Set up an Advanced Microsoft IT Academy for Resources IT Academy• Designed all of ReNE new Study Programme
