I currently serve as the Operating Partner for Taziki’s Mediterranean Café in Richmond, Virginia and Raleigh, NC as well as the Director of Operations for Vui’s Kitchen. I am one of only four corporate managing partners for Taziki’s, which collectively has nearly 100 units in 17 states.I manage 90+ employees between three stores, and have led the RIchmond market to $3 million in sales in 2019. I am a dedicated member of the community including involvement with the Chamber RVA, the Retail Merchants Association, and the Chesterfield Chamber. I most recently served as a board member for the Midlothian Business Alliance, which is dedicated to revitalizing the business community in Midlothian, Virginia.My expertise was developed through extensive daily planning and multi-unit operations management. I am an expert at influencing staff through training and development, while remaining focused on results. My leadership-style and restaurant-operations knowledge drive profitability in each of my locations. I enjoy working with local schools in Virginia on local efforts with special needs students as part of its HOPE Program – “Herbs Offering Personal Enrichment.” The HOPE Program is a partnership between local schools and Taziki’s Mediterranean Café to teach students with special needs all aspects of running an herb business, using skills that will transfer to other jobs in the future.Prior to joining Taziki’s Mediterranean Café, I served in many regional roles with Costco Wholesale for nearly 12 years in roles involving Meat, Deli, Membership, and Marketing departments. I assisted in the opening of many new locations including warehouses in Georgia, Northern Virginia, South Carolina, and Alabama. My operational expertise was leveraged to assist in the turn-around of under performing departments across the country. I assisted in the implementation of many new procedural food safety standards, such as the Country of Origin Labeling Act in the Fresh Departments.I have a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs from Kennesaw State University. I reside in Raleigh, NC/ Nashville, TN with my wife and three sons.
