I'm co-owner of Weideworks™ handmade wood, metal & leather products with my wife Joanna Weidemann. Starting this business has put us on a trajectory that will put focus on our brand and then build our side business into our occupations while allowing us to focus on volunteer work that is meaningful to us to help our community.Formerly an Energy Diversion Investigator for a gas & electric company, a role in which I specialized in the analysis of data to predict the likelihood of residential & commercial energy theft. Additionally, I performed in-person inspections & testing to verify theft and then documented physical and photographic evidence. From time to time I testified in court as a Subject Matter Expert or in defense of retroactive billing of energy theft. I conducted in-field inventorying of marijuana cultivation operation equipment for a wide array of law enforcement agencies at the local, county, state & federal level. I coordinated remediation of hazards and served as a "fixer" when people cannot find solutions or clear paths forward.
