I am a professional engineer with more than 20 years experience in the field of metallurgical engineering and materials science. Including: conducting mechanical integrity assessments involving pressure vessels, piping, tanks, offshore platforms, oil and gas pipelines, and steel framed structures; mechanical integrity control procedures for pressure vessels; integration of fracture mechanics, stress analysis, and nondestructive examination (NDE) for fracture-safe design; materials evaluation procedures for a range of materials covering cast iron, steel, aluminum, plastics, and elastomers, welding methods and procedures, and properties of welded joints; and failure analysis of materials from mechanical, corrosive, and thermal degradation modes. My recent project work includes developing and implementing mechanical integrity technology and programs focused on asset management and reliability. Program content includes Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), Integrity Operating Windows (IOWs), Fitness for Service (FFS), turnaround and inspection planning, reliability assessments, preventive maintenance, visual and nondestructive corrosion monitoring programs, visual inspection programs and training, and root-cause assessment investigation. I have worked on projects in several countries for oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, mining, energy generation and transportation (pipeline, rail, offshore) sectors.
Listed skills include Corrosion, Inspection, Metallurgy, Engineering, and 39 others.
