Owned and manage Jackson & Associates, a multi-line, independent manufacturer's representative and industrial distributor. Hired to assume territory responsibility for our industrial sales company. Traveled multi-state territory to develop and service customer base for multiple product lines. Was offered private stock ownership position in 1985. Purchased majority interest from owner in 1993 and became president of the company. Hired and managed J&A sales representatives in three states, with sales of almost $4 million. Experience includes sales, management, accounting and reporting, finance and AR management, computer network hardware and software including Peachtree and Quickbooks accounting programs, and tax issues. Industrial sales included meeting with maintenance department end users, engineering support staff, purchasing agents and buyers, and plant managers.

Started as delivery driver and stocking clerk. Ended up managing both the Lake Highlands and Richardson store locations. I developed a strong skillset for troubleshooting, as well as parts identification, vendor relationships, and customer service. Experience with customer service, inventory systems, order placement and receiving, retail management, and accounting.
